Noise By-law Exemption Request

In accordance with Noise By-law 8706, residents in the Town of LaSalle may apply for a Noise By-law Exemption. Noise By-law Exemptions are required when amplified sound will be used outdoors for an extended period of time.

Fee: There is $50 non-refundable application fee. Please note that a 1.75% service charge will be applied to your credit card.

Timeline: Requests must be submitted at least 30 days before the event. Late submissions run the risk of not being processed.

Notifications: Please note that upon approval of your request, the Town of LaSalle will notify neighbouring properties of your intent to use amplified sound.

The Applicant shall abide by any additional terms and conditions identified by Council Services as set out in the approved Noise By-law Exemption.
The approved Noise By-law Exemption may be revoked if the exemption was granted as a result of false or misleading information, an error in administration, or non-compliance with any terms and conditions established.
Failure to comply with any terms and conditions of the noise exemption process may be grounds for refusal of any future requests for noise exemptions.
